I have 3 of these in various colors. They are simple. No indiglo. Should have excellent battery life. They are very light weight. You hardly know you are wearing the watch. Keeps very good time. If you charge it near a light before you go to bed you can read the time nearly all night.

I wanted a good basic watch, and this is it. While it does have a loud tick, it's not terribly loud. It has to be quiet for you to hear it. And it's something I'm sure you can get used to after a while. Overall: good, basic watch. I give it 5 stars.

Let's face it, this is just a very cool watch. I mean, just look at it. Straight-forward, no-nonsense, and easy to read. Nothing techno-geeky about it. Timex produces a number of such watches that are an ideal choice for outdoor activities. They are durable, resistant to the elements, and if they are lost it's no big deal. And is anyone going to rob you for a watch that costs less than $30? If they do, so what? Something to keep in mind if you do a lot of travelling.

We were required to get a analogue watch for our nursing program, I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but I wanted a watch that would last. Well this watch filled this need! After nearly 3 months of constant wear the watch continues to keep perfect time. The band is a bit discolored, is now more of a yellowish gold, but remains functional. If you need an inexpensive watch I would suggest this one, it worked wonderfully for me!

I got this watch six years ago, when I was working at Fort Knox, Kentucky. I'm in the military, its dial shows the 24 hours and even better, It works just like the first day I bought it. It doesn't have a date window, but maybe "simple things are better things" ;-) . I recommend it at a 100%.

It is worth, for the Money i paid 17 US$ , for a simple watch. black color display gives additional look, and so far working good. A good sports and casual watch I am still using this watch. I love it. I use it when I play badminton, and jog, and even to my office. im still wearing it use it everyday. still the same original battery.

I am a first time marathon runner and run with a group once a week. I bought this watch as a cheap way to keep track of my time when I run on my own during the rest of the week. I saw some reviews that said this did not keep track of the seconds after 30 minutes. This is actually inaccurate, it does keep track of the seconds it just simply moves them from the main display to the top right. It is a little harder to read but definitely manageable so I was pleasantly surprised. I think it is well worth it at this price point if you are looking for something basic. It obviously doesn't keep track of miles, calories or heart rate but for me it works well.

I just bought this watch to use as a countdown timer for bike racing. It is easy to use and read, but what i realize is that the location of the start/split button is easy to bump. It was stopped when I didn't want it to be and I had to restart it. The next time I looked at it it was stopped again. Not good when you're trying to time something. I tried four times and each time I looked at it it was stopped. I think for running it is probably fine, but for activities where it might get bumped it's no good. I am going to try to take it back and get something with a start/reset button that is more difficult to bump.
