Also check my review for AQ160WD1BV, the metallic version. I own both. In terms of functionality and features, both the metal and resin band versions are exactly the same. This resin band version looks little bit different, because of the black resin band, and a black ring above the dial as opposed to metallic ring. Given a choice i would choose the metallic version of this watch. But the resin band is very cool. Its lighter weight, the dial is slightly thinner.

Great, good-looking watch for a microscopic price. This watch is basic, durable, plain, and classic. This about as unassuming as it gets. White face, black numbers, 3 hands. You'll find no gimmicky lights, altimeters, alternate times zones... you won't even find the date on this watch. You look down, you see the time... no more and no less.

Besides the atomic time keeping and solar recharge it also has an excellent LED light. I use the LED light to obviously read the time, but also to see in pitch black areas around the house at night. It is like a mini flashlight if your eyes are adjusted to the dark. I can make out the thermostat reading, where light switches are, etc. The hourly chime is also very helpful, and the alarm I find is louder than most which is great!
