"After reading all the reviews about "presentation," I wondered how much of the price went into packaging. Yes, the watch is beautifully presented, but it's the piece itself I'm pleased to own. It has weight, beauty and presence. The mother-of-pearl (abalone, I think) face has interesting color and character, not at all like the dark blue photograph, and the blue bezel is a neutral touch. It's much easier to read than my Anne Klein two-tone, larger but not mannish, and attractive with any daytime outfit. I find it very comfortable although the jeweler did have to remove two links to size it to my wrist. (This took no time at all and I didn't have to leave it.) I've had it a month so it's too early to speak of durability, but it looks and feels expensive and classy. I'm very glad to have purchased it and certainly recommend it."
